Dear Graham, we live in Friars Lane in Beverley directly adjacent to the green railway footbridge leading to Armstrong Way and Flemmingate shops. The footbridge is becoming worse recently in terms of graffiti and now what appears to be excrement which is a hazard to human health.
Please can you investigate this as a matter of urgency and have this cleaned up.
There was a recent consultation on this bridge which really is an eyesore compared to many other footbridges along this line. It seems to attract anti social behaviour, graffiti, litter, broken glass etc. It’s lethal when it’s dark and doubly lethal in winter months with ice etc. It really needs to be removed once and for all.
